Overview

Spent 4 weeks in Hebron, West Bank between April - May 2024 encouraged by the ongoing war on Gaza. My passion for social justice and helping others prompted me to take action and help out where I could.

I spent most of my time mainly teaching English at Al Fawwar Refugee Camp from children to adults at varying stages of english proficiency

Also visited and spoke with many human rights organisations, including UN officials on the current state within Palestine as well as the challenges faced by the increased oppression of the Israeli government and illegal settlers inside the West Bank

The World Food Programme is an international organisation within the United Nations that provides food assistance worldwide. It's not just in Gaza where people are seriously deprived of food.

UNRWA

A UN agency that supports the relief and human development of Palestinian Refugees which had severe funding cuts despite the neccesity of their services.
